A 53-year-old pedestrian sustained injuries and was charged following an accident that occurred in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, on January 5, 2014 at approximately 7:02 pm. CFD Medic 23 transported him to Grant Hospital. Reports from the OSHP are that a 51 year old man, Oumar Fetoh of Columbus, Ohio, was driving a 1998 Nissan Altima midsize car in the left turn lane on East Livingston Avenue at South Hamilton Road and attempted to turn left onto South Hamilton Road. He attempted to turn at a green light, when the pedestrian allegedly walked in front of the vehicle. The pedestrian was cited for being outside the crosswalk and also for being under the influence.
