Traffic came to a halt on Township Route 72 in Vermilion, Erie, Ohio, on December 8, 2013 at about 12:36 pm, following a motor vehicle crash that occurred and resulted in injuries for a 47-year-old man, Gary L. Mckisic of Amherst, Ohio. Police reports are that the man was driving a 2007 Ford Focus compact car, west on Kniesel Road when he allegedly drove it off the right side of the roadway and returned to the road. The car was then driven off the left side of the roadway where it struck a rock, a pine tree and an oak tree before it rested on a private property in a yard. The driver was transported by Cleveland Metro Life Flight to Cleveland Metro. L & M towed the car.
