Woman/Child Injured in Allen, OH, SUV Overturns, Strikes Ditch, Tree

A two-vehicle crash occurred and resulted in injuries for a 28 year old woman and a 2 year old boy, both of Lima, Ohio, on October 9, 2013 at approximately 9:18 am. Reports from the OSHP are that a 1998 Subaru Legacy midsize car was being driven by a 54 year old man along with a 2007 Buick RDV SUV that was being driven by the woman, south on Interstate Route 75. The man allegedly attempted to change lanes, lost control and his car struck the SUV. The SUV overturned, went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and a fence before resting in the field upright. Both the woman and the child were transported by Fort Shawnee EMS to LMH. The man was charged and Blake’s towed the SUV.
