A crash that was allegedly caused by a deer that entered the roadway caused injuries to an elderly woman, 77 year old Bertha Landis of Doylestown, Ohio, in Chippewa, Wayne, Ohio, on October 5, 2013 at approximately 11:30 am. Police reports are the woman was driving a 2008 Mercury Milano midsize car, north on State Route 57 when the accident occurred and her vehicle struck and killed the deer. The deer landed over the guardrail and off the roadway. The woman was treated at the scene and Osborn’s towed her car.
