11 Y-O Boy Injured in Mercer, OH, Bicycle Accident

Celina Police Department was called to the scene of an accident that occurred on September 10, 2013 and resulted in injuries for an 11 year old boy. Reports are that the 11 year old boy of Celina, Ohio, was riding a bicycle east on Sycamore Street when he allegedly ran the stop sign at Plum and failed to see a 1968 Pontiac Firebird that was being driven by a 48 year old man, Timothy J. Garman. The man braked and swerved to the right in an attempt to avoid a collision. The bicycle struck the Pontiac in the left front panel. The boy was ejected from his bicycle. The boy was treated at the scene.
