Wilmington Girl Charged in Clinton, OH Crash

A 16 year old girl sustained injuries and was charged in Wilmington, Clinton, Ohio, when her car allegedly struck another in the rear end, on September 13, 2013 at approximately 7:43 am. Based on reports received from the Wilmington Police Department, a 2005 Kia Optima compact car was being driven by the girl, east on Main Street, at the same time as a 2012 Hyundai Elantra compact car that was being driven by a 52 year old woman on the same road. The driver of the Hyundai, Amy L. Donaldson, had stopped for a dog in the roadway and the driver of the Kia failed to maintain an assured clear distance and struck it. Both drivers sustained injuries and were treated at the scene.
