Police reports are that a 71 year old man was driving a 1999 Mack truck south on Township Route 69 and stopped for a stop sign. A 19 year old woman, Samantha Lyn Pankuch was driving a 2005 Ford Windom minivan west on Federal Highway 42. The elderly man allegedly failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign and struck the minivan. The woman was transported by Lodi EMS to Lodi Hospital, while an occupant of her vehicle, 19 year old Cody Ellis Scruggs was transported by University Hospital to Akron City Hospital. The elderly man was charged and Bears towed both vehicles.
