Sugar Creek, Putnam, Ohio, was the scene of a tractor-semi crash that resulted in injuries for a 51 year old man of Hudson, Ohio, on September 13, 2013 at approximately 6:26 am. Reports from the OSHP are that a 49 year old man, John D. Aguirre of Grove, Ohio, was driving a 1985 International tractor-semi east on a private drive and attempted to turn south onto State Route 115. The 51 year old driver of a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am midsize car, Richard L. Walworth was driving south on State Route 115. The truck became disabled in the southbound lane after losing power and was allegedly struck by the driver of Pontiac. The injured man was transported by Kalida EMS to St. Richard’s medical Center. Aguirre towed the truck, while B & O towed the car.
