Three people sustained injuries in a crash that occurred in Monroe, Logan, Ohio, on October 4, 2013 at approximately 2:30 pm. Reports from the OSHP are that a 49 year old man, Mark A. Stafford of West Liberty, Ohio, was driving a 1987 Toyota Camry midsize car north on State Route 245, approaching the intersection of County Route 1 and State Route 287. The 21 year old driver of a 1995 Acura compact car was stopped at the stop sign on County route 1, facing south at the intersection. The driver of the Acura allegedly failed to yield from the stop sign and was struck by the Camry. The youth was charged and treated at the scene by West Liberty, while two occupants of the vehicle, Jacob B. Seigenthaler 21, was treated at the scene by West Liberty and Rebecka Major 15, was transported by West Liberty EMS to Mary Rutan. Kirby’s towed the Acura.
