September 5, 2013 at approximately 8:02 pm signaled the occurrence of a crash that caused fatal injuries to a 49 year old man, Curtis J. Steggles of Twinsburg, Ohio, in Brecksville, Cuyahoga, Ohio. According to reports from the OSHP, the man was driving a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am midsize car south on Riverview Road, when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the right side of the roadway. It struck a telephone pole and was partially wrapped around it, trapping the driver in the seat until dispatchers arrived on the scene. He was transported by Twinsburg Metro Life Flight to Metro Health where he was pronounced dead. Hilltop Flat towed the car.
