19 Year Old Woman Injured as Car Flips in Van Wert, Ohio

A 1996 Ford Taurus midsize car flipped a full revolution and rested in a field, causing injuries to its 19 year old driver on September 11, 2013 at 6:02 pm in Liberty, Van Wert, Ohio according to reports from the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office. The reports further stated that, prior to the flip, the woman was driving her car north on Van Wert Greenville Road, when she allegedly drove the car off the left side of the roadway. She crossed back over and went off the right side, overcorrected and went left again. It struck a phone box and went into a ditch. According to the reports, the driver stated that she fell asleep. Ohio City EMS transported her to Van Wert Hospital after which she was charged. Parker Mace towed the car.
