Reports from the OSHP are that on September 3, 2013 at approximately 11:30 am, a 2003 Toyota Corolla midsize car and a 2007 Peterbilt Truck were headed south on State Route 3. The driver of the Toyota, 85 year old Loren Hershberger slowed to make a turn and his car was allegedly struck by the 53 year old male driver of the Peterbilt truck. The injured man was taken to Knox Community Hospital by Mount Vernon EMS. The other driver was charged and Johnny’s towed the Toyota.
