SUV Struck Gas Line Marker, Ditch and Injures Woman in Geauga, OH

A pickup and a SUV crashed in Newbury, Geauga, Ohio on August 11, 2013 at approximately 9:50 am and resulted in injuries for a 29 year old woman, Jessica M. Finney of Ravenna, Ohio. Police reports are that she was driving a 2011 Jeep SUV north on State Route 44. A 35 year old woman was driving a 2009 GMC Sierra pickup south on the same road and passed another vehicle in a no passing zone. The driver of the SUV allegedly swerved off the roadway to the right to avoid a collision and struck a gas line marker and a ditch. Finney was treated at the scene, while the woman, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio was charged. An occupant of the vehicle, 29 year old Suzanne Finney was not hurt. S & S towed the Jeep.
