Ashland, Ohio, Car Strikes Embankment; Kills 22 Year Old Female

22 year- old April. H. Yoder of Bourbon, IN was killed and two elderly men, 61 year old Robert L. Sivey of Shreve, OH and 72 year old Fred H. Wolf of Lakeville, OH, sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Lake, Ashland, Ohio on August 16, 2013 at approximately 5:56 pm. According to reports from the OHSP, the young woman was driving a 2005 Scion compact car south on State Route 179, when she allegedly failed to maintain control of her vehicle. The car was driven left of the center of the roadway, and was struck by the 2004 GMC that was being driven by Sivey. It then struck an embankment. Yoder was transported by Jeromesville Fire and EMS to Cuyahoga Coroner. Sivey was treated at the scene, while Wolf was transported by Jeromesville Fire and EMS to Samaritan Hospital. Auer towed both vehicles.
