Vanlue, Ohio, Woman Killed in Biglick, Hancock Accident

A 60-year-old woman of Vanlue, Ohio, lost her life in an accident that occurred in Biglick, Hancock, Ohio on July 10, 2013, at approximately 1:15 pm. Police reports are that a 34-year-old woman, Wynter M. Jones of Hancock, Ohio, was driving a 2010 Honda Pilot compact car west on County Route 7, approaching the intersection of Township Route 251. A 2006 Honda Accord midsize car was being driven by a 60-year-old woman, Carolyn Howard, of Vanlue, Ohio, north on Township Route 251. She allegedly failed to yield to the Honda Pilot and it struck the passenger side of the Accord. Both vehicles rested on the corner of County Route 7. Mariel Andrews, a 19-year-old occupant of the Honda Pilot, was transported by Hancock EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for injuries she received. The driver of the Honda Accord was killed and her body transported by Hancock EMS to Lucas County. The driver of the Honda Pilot was injured and transported by Hancock EMS to Blanchard Valley. Mac & Rob towed the Honda Pilot and Dick’s towed the Accord.
