Two women, one aged 35 and the other 18, sustained injuries in a rear end crash that occurred in Lykens, Crawford, Ohio, on July 11, 2013 at approximately 10:50 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that a 35 year old woman, Amber N. Hensley was driving a 2006 Honda Accord midsize car, north on Knauss Road. She allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign at Brokensword Road. The 18 year old driver of a 2004 Chevy Malibu midsize car, Amber N. Roberts was headed west on the same road and was struck by the Honda, which went off the left side of the roadway and into a ditch. Lifestar transported the 35 year old woman to Bucyrus Community Hospital and the younger woman was treated at the scene. Knecht’s Auto Recycling towed the Honda. Accidents that occurred and resulted in injuries when it was cloudy amounted to 19,791.
