61 year old Mikell Bryan of Fayette Ohio lost his life in a crash that occurred on Monday 27th of May, at 2:30 am. He was traveling east on Federal Highway 36, just 7 miles east of Federal Highway 62 when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle. Bryan allegedly drove off the left side of the roadway and crossed the dividing median . The vehicle then crossed the west lane of traffic, traveling in the opposite direction, striking a highway road sign. The SUV with Bryan on board then climbed an embankment and struck a small tree before striking the ODOT boundary fence. It plowed through the fence and traveled through a farm field striking a manhole cover. It finally stopped in a farmfied approximately .75 miles from Federal Highway 36 facing north. The Police report states that there were no signs of an attempt to brake by the 61 year old, leading them to believe that he had sustained a medical emergency which contributed to the accident. He died on the spot and was transported to Montgomery County Coroners by Fayette Emergency Services. The vehicle was towed by 3-C.
