17-Year-Old Youth Killed in Champaign, Ohio, Head On Collision

A 2005 Buick SUV that was being driven by a 17-year-old youth of Russel’s Point, Ohio, Thomas Hunter Valentine, was involved in a crash that resulted in his being killed and transported by Careflight to Miami Valley. A 33-year-old man was also treated at the scene by St. Paris EMS, in the same accident which occurred on June 7, 2013, at approximately 1:10 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that the youth was driving south on State Route 235 in Champaign, Ohio when he allegedly drove left of the center of the road. His vehicle struck a 1995 KW T80 truck that was being driven north by the 33-year-old man, Jason K. Hoop, head-on. The truck was registered to Yeah Man Trucking. Dan’s towed both vehicles.
