An accident occurred in Jefferson, Fayette, Ohio, that caused injuries to a 57 year old woman of Pittsburgh, PA., on Friday May 24, 2013 at approximately 12:11 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that the woman was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer 2 SUV south on Interstate Route 71 in the far right lane. The vehicle allegedly drifted to the right, overcorrected, crossed the other two lanes and off the left side of the roadway where it struck a guardrail. It continued over the guardrail, overturned and rested onto its top under a bridge. The woman was transported by Careflight to Miami Valley and then charged with operating her vehicle without reasonable control. Pauley’s towed the SUV.
