A rear end crash occurred and resulted in injuries for a 15 year old girl who was taken by Englewood EMS to a hospital on May 16, 2013 at approximately 6:40 pm in Englewood, Montgomery, Ohio. Police reports are that a 24 year old woman was driving a 2001 Toyota Corolla compact car, east on Wenger Road at approximately 30 mph and allegedly failed to stop when she neared State Route 48. She failed to maintain a clear distance ahead and collided with a 1994 Ford Taurus midsize car that was being driven by 45 year old Heidi M. Baker of Lewisburg, Ohio. It was headed east and stopped at the traffic light. The girl was an occupant of the Ford, as well as a 6 year old boy, Brendan G. Baker who was not injured. The driver of the Toyota was charged.
