Central Lorain County EMS in Wellington, Lorain, Ohio, transported a 42-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl to Mercy Oberlin Hospital for injuries they sustained in an accident that occurred on April 19, 2013 at approximately 7:30 am. Reports from the ODPS are that a 42 year old woman, Phaedra Hess of Wellington, Ohio, was driving north on State Route 58 in a 2004 Ford Taurus midsize car, while a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup was being driven by the 17 year old girl and was stopped west on Webster Road at a stop sign. The driver of the pickup allegedly pulled her vehicle out from the stop sign and into the path of the Ford Taurus. The collision was unavoidable, the Taurus struck the pickup and both vehicles rested off the west side of the roadway. Banner towed the Ford and Dunlap’s towed the pickup. The girl was charged.
