SUV Strikes Stone Pillar and Injures 45 Year Old Woman in Ottawa

A SUV crashed and resulted in injuries for a 45 year old woman of Port Clinton, Ohio, on Sand Road in Catawba Island, Ottawa, Ohio at approximately 4:00 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that a 2012 Chevy Traverse SUV was being driven by the woman, west on Sand Road. She allegedly drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a stone pillar. The vehicle continued through two residential yards. Catawba Township EMS transported the man to Magruder Hospital, after which he was charged. Ken’s towed the SUV.
