A car accident occurred on Friday Morning southbound on Sierra Lane in Brown, Darke, Ohio involving a 2000 Ford Taurus midsize car, which resulted in injuries for its 55 year old female driver, Theresa Kay Corn of Union City, In. and death for a 64 year old man, Daniel L. Fries of Englewood, Ohio. reports from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office are that the car was headed south on Sierra lane, when the driver allegedly lost control of her vehicle because of excessive speed. The car spun backwards and struck a curb on the left side of the roadway. It then overturned and rolled over a school zone sign and a sidewalk. It finally rested upside down in a yard at 1 Sierra Lane. They were transported by Union City EMS and Ansonia EMS to Wayne Hospital. The man was an occupant of the car that was towed by Sham’s.
