2 Killed; 1 Injured in Montgomery, Ohio, Head On Crash

Two people lost their lives and one sustained injuries in an early morning head-on crash that occurred in Miami, Montgomery, Ohio on April 21, 2013 at approximately 00:38 am. Reports from the police are that 26 year old Michael R. Sidenstick of Englewood, Ohio was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SUV north in the left lane on State Route 741. He changed lanes and ended up into the right lane. 51 year old Wanda Marie Scrivens of Miamisburg, Ohio was driving a 2012 Chevy Malibu midsize car south in the left lane of State Route 741 and allegedly drove left of the center of the road and into the northbound lanes where it struck the Dodge SUV. The driver of the Chevy and a 57 year old male occupant, Melvin Edward Brooks of Dayton, Ohio, were killed and transported by the Coroner to the Coroner’s Office, while the driver of the SUV was injured and transported by Miami Valley Fire EMS to Miami Valley. Sandy’s towed the SUV and Holli’s towed the Chevy.
