A 14 year old male child, Logan P.S. Julian of Orwell, Ohio, who was a pedestrian on Federal Highway 322 in Orwell, Ashtabula, Ohio, was injured in a hit and run accident that occurred on May 1, 2013 at approximately 9:02 pm. Reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol are that a Ford Taurus was being driven west on Federal Highway 322 while the boy, who was a pedestrian was crossing the roadway from the south to the north. The car allegedly struck the pedestrian and the driver fled the scene. The boy was treated at the scene.
