On the evening of April 23, 2013 at approximately 6:20 pm in Scipio, Seneca, Ohio, an accident occurred that resulted in injuries for two men, a 19 year old man of Republic, Ohio, and a 37 year old man, Kenneth E. Butler of Tiffin, Ohio, both of whom were treated at the scene. Reports from the ODPS are that the 19 year old man was driving a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SUV and was stopped at the intersection of County Road 43 and Township Road 106. Butler was driving a 2011 Ford Windom SUV, east on Township Road 106 and was headed south. The driver of the Trailblazer allegedly failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by the vehicle that was being driven by Butler. The Trailblazer then continued off the left side of the roadway and struck a phone box and a utility pole. The driver of the Trailblazer was charged. Peacock’s towed the Trailblazer and John’s towed the Ford Windom.
