Boy and Woman Injured in Scioto, Crash

A woman and a boy sustained injuries in a collision that occurred in Washington, Scioto, Ohio, on February 11, 2014 at approximately 4:09 pm. Reports from the police are that a 2011 GMC SUV was headed north on State Route 852, while a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am full size car was being driven on the same road at the same time. The driver of the GMC, a 30 year old man of Ashland, KY, allegedly lost control and drove left of the center of the road. The SUV was struck by the Pontiac that was being driven by a 29 year old man, Jason E. Sanders of Portsmouth, KY. Two occupants, 8 year old Gavin Stutler and a 29 year old woman, Tiffany Howard were transported by Washington Township EMS to Southern Ohio Medical Center. The driver of the GMC was charged and Ted’s and A-1 towed the vehicles.
