Two Men Injured in Guernsey, OH, Rear End Crash

An afternoon crash occurred in Jackson, Guernsey, Ohio, and resulted in injuries for two men, 57 year old Gary E. Newton and a 29 year old man, both of Cambridge, Ohio, who was subsequently charged. On February 7, 2014 at approximately 4:55 pm, police reported that Newton was driving a 2002 Buick Lesabre full size car, north on County Route 457, while a 1997 Ford F150 pickup that was being driven by the younger man backed out onto County Route 457. The driver allegedly failed to yield the right of way to the car and his pickup was struck in the rear by it. Both drivers were treated at the scene and B & B towed the car.
