Elderly Woman, Teenager Injured in Lake, Ohio, Crash

The early morning of Valentines Day, February 14, 2014, was signaled by a crash that occurred in Painesville, Lake, Ohio, at approximately 7:40 am. Reports from the OSHP are that an elderly woman, Patricia A. Gash was driving a 2007 Lexus E350 midsize car, west on Federal Highway 20. A 19 year old woman was driving a 2003 Ford Focus compact car, and turned left onto Federal Highway 20 from Chatham Drive. The driver stopped at a posted stop sign and allegedly continued to pull out in front of the Lexus and the vehicle was struck. Painesville Township Fire transported both women to Tripoint Hospital. The young woman was charged. Bob’s towed both vehicles.
