An elderly man, Ernest G. McClintock, sustained injuries, along with a 56 year old woman who was an occupant of his pickup, following a crash that occurred in Whetstone, Crawford, Ohio, on February 3, 2014 at approximately 11:07 am. Reports from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office are that a 30 year old man was driving a 1998 Ford F150 pickup, west on State Route 19 and approached County Route 35. The driver of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am midsize car, 85 year old McClintock, was headed west but stopped at an intersection to turn left onto Beal Avenue and was rear-ended by the pickup. An occupant of the Pontiac, Robin A. Myers was also injured. Both were transported by Lifestar EMS to Bucyrus Community Hospital. The driver of the pickup was charged, after which it was towed by Ronk’s and Bloomfield’s towed the car.
