18 Y-O Youth Injured in Henry, OH, as Parked Vehicle is Struck

A 3-vehicle crash caused injuries for an 18 year old youth in Napoleon, Henry, Ohio, on February 12, 2014 at approximately 9:24 am. Reports from the Napoleon Police Department are that a 1995 Chevy full size car that was being driven by the youth was stopped at the stop sign at Beckham Street and Appian Avenue. The driver began to make a right turn from Beckham Street onto Appian Avenue and allegedly failed to see a 2011 Ford F350 pickup that was being driven by a 57-year-old man, Mark R. Shephard of McClure, Ohio, on Appian Avenue. The youth was unable to stop in time, struck the pickup, and caused it to strike a 2008 Jeep Cherokee SUV that was parked in the driveway of a house on Appian Avenue. Napoleon Fire and Rescue transported the injured youth to Henry County Hospital, after which he was charged. K & K towed the pickup.
