Elderly Woman/Young Man Injured in Pike, Ohio, Accident

An accident that occurred in Seal, Pike, Ohio, caused injuries to a 77 year old woman, and a 20 year old man, Trevor E. Kelley, both of Waverly, Ohio, on January 16, 2014 at approximately 12:43 pm. According to reports from the OSHP, the elderly woman was driving a 2005 Pontiac van, south on County Route 81, while a 55 year old man, James G. Kelley Jr., of Waverly, Ohio, was driving a 1998 Ford F150 pickup, west on the same road. The driver of the van was crossing the road to make a left turn onto State Route 32 East and her vehicle was allegedly struck by the pickup. The woman and the young man, who was an occupant of the pickup, were transported by Pike County EMS to Pike Community Hospital and the woman charged. Bobst towed the van and Heistad’s towed the pickup.
