49 Year Old Man Killed as SUV Catches Fire in Putnam, OH

A 2006 Jeep Commando SUV that allegedly drifted off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons, allegedly caused death for a 49 year old man, Ronald J. Miehls of Ottawa, Ohio, in Ottawa, Putnam, Ohio. On January 23, 2014 at approximately 4:22 pm, police reports stated that the man was driving his SUV at the time of the accident. It ended up striking a traffic sign, a metal post and a mobile home before it rested against the mobile home. It caught fire.
