Rear End Crash on SR 160 Injures 43 Y-O Woman in Gallia, OH

A 43 year old woman of Bidwell, Ohio, was treated at the scene of a crash which occurred in Springfield, Gallia, Ohio, on January 5, 2013 at approximately 7:15 pm. Police reports are that the woman, Robin R. Qualls was driving a 2001 Hyundai Accent compact car, north on State Route 160, when she slowed in traffic and attempted to make a left turn. An 18 year old youth was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty SUV, north on the same road and allegedly failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the car in the rear. The youth was charged. Occupants of both vehicles were not injured.
