Two people sustained injuries in a crash that occurred in Rumley, Harrison, Ohio, on January 18, 2013 at approximately 7:00 pm. Reports from the OSHP are that a 39 year old man of Scio, Ohio, was driving a 1996 Geo compact car, east on State Route 151, while a 65 year old man, Thomas D. Barnett of Mechanicsville, Ohio, was driving a 2010 Chevy Cobalt compact car in the same direction and on the same road. The driver of the Chevy was stopped at a construction zone. The driver of the Geo allegedly failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the Chevy. Barnett and an occupant of his car, 43 year old Freda Luyester were treated at the scene.
