A truck crash occurred on December 6, 2013 at approximately 4:35 pm and resulted in injuries for a 5-year-old girl, who was an occupant of a 2007 Ford Fusion compact car in Wauseon, Fulton, Ohio. Police reported that a 2007 Peterbilt truck was parked behind the Ford, as it would be turning left when the traffic was clear. The driver of the Ford, 61-year-old Deborah J. King of Michigan City, MI, began to turn when she allegedly stopped for a white van. The 52-year-old male driver of the truck also began to drive and failed to see the car had stopped. He attempted to turn right to avoid striking the car with his vehicle, but still hit it. He was charged. Wauseon EMS transported the girl to Fulton County Health Center.
