An accident occurred and resulted in injuries for a 54 year old man, William C. Ferst who was transported by Carey EMS to Wyandot memorial in Carey, Wyandot, Ohio at approximately 11:23 am. According to police reports, on October 11, 2013 a 1987 Chevy S10 pickup was being driven by A 17 year old youth who was attempting to make a left turn off South Vance Street onto Clay Street. The man was driving a 1994 Chevy 144 pickup, south on the same road at the intersection of South Vance Street and Clay Street. The driver of the Chevy S10 allegedly failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of the Chevy 144. Both vehicles collided head on. An occupant of the Chevy S10 pickup, Brian Richard Powers 16, was not injured. The youth was charged and Fox’s towed both vehicles.
