A Buick SUV that allegedly failed to yield from a stop sign crashed and caused injuries to three people in Jackson, Putnam, Ohio, on October 5, 2013 at approximately 6:44 pm. Police reports are that a 2011 Buick Enclave SUV was being driven by a 69 year old man of Cloverdale, Ohio, west on Federal Highway 224. A 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was being driven by 44 year old Neil M. Corte or Van Wert, Ohio, south on State Route 634. The elderly man allegedly failed to yield to the Chrysler from a stop sign and his vehicle was struck at the intersection. The driver of the Buick was charged, while Corte and an occupant of the Buick, Judith M. Miller 67, was treated by Ottoville EMS. Two occupants of the minivan, Stacie and Brad Corte were not injured. Delphos’ Chevy towed the Buick and Mace towed the minivan.
