Two Women Injured in Ashtabula, OH Rear End Crash

Residents of Andover, Ashtabula, Ohio, were present on the scene of an early morning crash which caused injuries to two people, 52 year old Elizabeth E. Krowlie of Kissimmee, Fla., and a 31 year old woman, on September 13, 2013 at approximately 7:45 am. Reports from the OSHP police are that a 2012 Toyota Prius compact car and a 2003 Honda Civic compact car were both being driven east on Federal Highway 6. Krowlie, who was driving the Prius slowed and began to turn right into a private driveway. The driver of the Honda allegedly swerved to the right to avoid a collision and rear ended the Prius, then ran off the tight side of the roadway. The Honda struck a culvert before it struck the Prius in the private driveway. Both were treated at the scene and the driver of the Honda charged.
