An elderly woman sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Celina, Mercer, Ohio, on September 4, 2013 at approximately 6:01 pm. According to reports from Celina Police Department, the woman, Betty R. Bowsher was driving a 2013 Buick midsize car south on Lilac Street, while a 30 year old man, James A. Wellington was driving a 1997 Ford F150 pickup east on Myers. Both vehicles met in the intersection. The driver of the Buick allegedly struck the pickup. The driver of the Buick allegedly drove through the traffic light. Five children, who were occupants of the pickup were not injured.
