Bicycle Crash Kills 55 Year Old Man in Wood, Ohio

A bicycle crashed and claimed the life of a 55 year old man in Perrysburg, Wood, Ohio, on September 12, 2013 at approximately 3:34 pm. OSHP reported that the man was riding his bicycle, east in the westbound lanes of Roachton Road. A 35 year old man, Nathan W. Kerber of Perrysburg, Ohio, was driving a 2009 Pontiac Vibe compact car, also headed west on Roachton Road. As the car passed the bicycle, the rider allegedly lost control and fell onto the roadway. The Pontiac struck the driver. His body was transported by Lucas County Coroner to Lucas County Morgue. Orr’s Sunoco towed the car.
