56 Year Old Man Injured in Adams, OH as Heavy Vehicle Crashes

An accident that occurred and closed Federal Highway 52 for several hours on Tuesday September 10, 2013 at 1:20 pm, caused injuries to a 56 year old man, Randy E. Baldwin of Manchester, Ohio, who was the driver of a 1986 Ford vehicle. Reports from the OSHP are that the man was driving his vehicle east on Federal Highway 52, turning north onto Bush Creek Road. The 43 year old driver of a 2012 Jeep Patriot SUV was headed east on Federal Highway 52 and attempted to pass the heavy vehicle in the intersection. The SUV allegedly struck the vehicle and both units rested in the roadway. The injured man was treated at the scene and the driver of the SUV charged. Larry’s towed the truck, while Meadows towed the SUV. A 23 year old occupant of the SUV, Noel Aaron Thomas, was not injured.
