3 Injured as Pickup Strikes Mailbox, Overturns in Richland, OH

A motorist and two occupants were injured when the 1994 Chevy S10 pickup that he was driving allegedly went off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned, ejecting the occupants and then ran off the left side of the roadway. Police reported that the crash occurred on September 15, 2013 at approximately 1:00 am. The driver, Mikel D. Claire 21, of Mansfield, Ohio, and an occupant, Jordan D. Beaver 16, of Butler, Ohio, were transported by Worthington Township EMS to Med Central. A third occupant, Justin A. Stacey 25, of Loudonville, Ohio, was transported by Medflight to OSU Columbus. Mike’s Marathon towed the pickup.
