T & T Towing was called to remove two vehicles from the scene of a crash that occurred in Hillsboro, Highland, Ohio and resulted in death for a 52-year-old man and injuries for a 33-year-old woman. According to OSHP, on Friday, August 16, 2013, at approximately 10:53 am, the man, James C. Patten was driving a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Federal Highway 50. The woman, Betty L. Shelton was driving a 2013 Chevy compact car north on Danville Road. She pulled through a stop sign and attempted to turn left, but allegedly drove into the path of the motorcycle. The man tried to take evasive action and was ejected from the motorcycle. Both the Chevy and the driver struck the motorcycle. Both were transported by Lynchburg Fire and Rescue to Highland District.
