Residents of Harpersfield, Ashtabula, Ohio, were present on the scene of an afternoon crash in which two women, aged 55 and 19 years old sustained injuries on August 12, 2013 at approximately 4:33 pm. Reports from the police are that two vehicles, a 2002 Chevy Prizm compact car and a 2004 Dodge Durango SUV were headed north on State Route 84. The older woman, Pamela J. Pahel slowed her SUV to turn left onto West Street and was allegedly struck in the rear by the Chevy that was being driven by a 30 year old man. The younger woman, Paige Piedman of Geneva, Ohio, who was an occupant of the Chevy was injured as well. Both women were treated at the scene by Northwest Ambulance District.
