Two people sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Waterford, Washington, Ohio on August 3, 2013 at approximately 11:25am. Reports from the ODPS are that a 43 year old woman was driving a 2006 Chevy Cobalt compact car north on County Route 4. A 16 year old girl was driving a 2005 Subaru Legacy midsize car south on the same road, following a truck that was pulling a large piece of farm equipment. The driver of the Subaru attempted to turn left onto Township Route 145 and allegedly failed to yield the right of way to the Chevy. The units separated with the Subaru going off the east side of the roadway and into a ditch. The 43 year old woman was transported by Beverly Squad to Marietta Memorial, while the girl was treated my Marietta Memorial. The girl was charged and Captain Hook’s towed both vehicles.
