Equipment Failure Causes Crash In Warren Ohio, Injures 50 Y-O Man

Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a crash which involved a 1994 Chevy Silverado pickup and a 2013 Dodge Avalon midsize car, this following a collision that occurred on August 2, 2013 at approximately 9:28 pm in Middletown, Warren, Ohio and resulted in injuries for a 50 year old woman, Peggy A. Dorsey of Batavia, OH. Reports are that both vehicles were being driven north on Interstate Route 75, when a tire on the pickup allegedly blew out. The tire traveled across two lanes of traffic and struck the car. The woman who was driving the car, was treated at the scene. An occupant of the car, Shawna M. Dorsey 20, was not hurt. The 33 year old driver of the pickup, Antonio Rivera Cruz was not injured. Sandy’s towed the pickup and Northern’s towed the car.
