2 Young Men Injured in Portage, Ohio Rear End Crash

An accident occurred on July 22, 2013, which resulted in injuries for two men in Edinburg, Portage, Ohio at approximately 1:37 pm. According to police reports, a 22-year-old man was driving an International Truck south on State Route 14, approaching a 2000 Mercury coupe midsize car that was being driven by a 20-year-old man, Chad Ferguson of Ravenna, Ohio. The car had stopped to turn left into a driveway. The driver of the truck allegedly failed to stop and struck the rear of the car, then went off the right side of the roadway. The car rested in the field off the left side of the road. Both men were treated at the scene. River’s towed the truck and Schumann’s towed the car.
