An 18-year-old youth, Jonathan T. Sisson of Glouster, Ohio, sustained injuries in a rear end crash that occurred in Nelsonville, Athens, Ohio on June 5, 2013 at approximately 3:53 pm. Reports from the OHSP are that the youth was driving a 1994 Chevy S10 pickup north on State Route 691 and stopped in traffic for the green light at State Route 33. The driver of a 2009 Pontiac G6 midsize car was headed in the same direction being driven by 21-year-old Melissa G. Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio, on the same road and allegedly lost his brakes and struck the pickup in the rear. The car traveled between the pickup and the guardrail before coming to a stop. The youth was transported by Athens County EMS to Doctor’s Hospital. Doc’s towed the pickup.
