ATV Crash Injures 2 Boys in Shelby, Ohio

Two 13 year old boys sustained injuries in Cynthian, Shelby, Ohio when the 2003 Honda ATV that they were traveling on allegedly flipped, sent the rear passenger rolling over the driver and landed into a ditch. Reports from the OSHP are that the ATV was being driven by one of the boys, east on Cardo Road, when he allegedly lost his hat and became distracted in trying to find it. The ATV left the roadway to the south before it crashed. The other boy, who was an occupant, Cody J. Barhorst, was treated at the scene, while the driver was transported by Fort Loramie Rescue to Wilson Hospital and subsequently charged with driving an unregistered vehicle.
